Hi Tim Thank you for your reply I have a photo of the parts which I don't know how to load so help is sort The photo would explain a lot. I am not sure which plastic it is but I believe it is an injection moulding the cog will slide over the plastic< make a firm push fit ThanksNigel |

Hi I am asking for help please? How to glue polyethylene to stainless steel. I have i think a polyethylene injection moulded pulley wheel shalt with a damaged gear shaft I want to bond a new gear cog over the boss what glue can is best to do this. The loads are not heavy. I have a photo if I can attach it to the link! Many thanks Nigel Jaques |

Hi Nigel Thanks for the reply and info, I read the folder as best I could and it would make a nice write up, perhaps even a series . I think that it might be a little beyond my expertise at the moment. SolidWorks is a program that I don't have access to just yet. I have always liked Talyllyn loco's and Narrow gauge and I will watch this space with interest. Many thanks, Nigel!!!! |

I went to the Doncaster Model Engineering show this year on 12 May 2018 and on the Locomotive and Rolling Stock section 39 There was a very nice model of a 31/2 ins Talyllyn Railway 'Tom Rolt' by a N.Bennett ( Leeds).I wondered if anybody knows what drawings were used or any help would be appreciated. |
