Hi Fowlers Fury,

Thank´s for taking your time and sending me this link. This confirms what i suspected. Apparently there was a variation of colours inside cab. I have looked at films on You Tub and most BR cabs are either light grey, almost white or have a ligh yellow colour. I think I will paint my cab light grey, but first I have to spraypaint the outsides black. I will post some pictures later on so you can see the final result.

Yes it´s the wrong locomotive. Mine is a BR Class 2. The one in the link is an Ivatt Class 2, but thanks anyway.

Hi all,

I have been a member for a long time but this is the first time I post.

I am 62 years old and have been a model engineer for as long as I can remember.My main interests are Live steam locomotivs and toolmaking.

I have a 3.5" Tich locomotive which is nearly 40 years old but runs very well. I am currently trying to finish my BR class2 locomotive in 7,25" gauge. This has been a long built nearly 40 years and now I have a question about the collor insade the cab. I know it is black upp to the windovs but what is the correct color for the rest of the cab.
