Hi Andries, we had some bronze pully wheels to make for the rigging on my sons boat & the radius was just about right for the 1/4'' hss round, it did the job great without having to grind up a form tool specially for the job. regards Graham. |

Hi Colin, hope you receive it o-k, mine was for the myford, which I have had for some time, what I didn't mention was I ordered the larger one for the colchester a week before I went to australia & had it delivered to my relations over there & picked it up whilst there & brought it home myself. ![]() |

colin, I purchased a diamond tool from bay .com in america a few years ago & the customs stiffed me up for about £20 plus I had to collect it from p.o. sorting office & they charged me £4 for the privilege. I love the tool & tend to sharpen it more than normal tools as it's so quick & easy making a better finish on the work,it's not so good on brass as it's got too much top rake. |

Hi, I've used sievert for years, it's quality equipment but not cheap, if you can get hold of a ''flamefast'' brazing hearth 2nd hand( it has it's own built in air blower) they are really good for brazing & silver soldering, & I use pieces of'' thermalite'' building blocks from building sites, the lightweight ones, they are super for reflecting the heat back into the work, far better than firebricks & free if you're a skip rat, almost as good as ceramic blanket without the cost. |
