Thread: 3D printer forums?
26/02/2022 15:45:24

I would split the 3D printing sites into three categories. The first is news sites, with useful articles, reviews, tutorials and guides, such as 3Dnatives and Makershop
The second category is simply forums where people can ask questions, find answers, participate in discussions or share their experiences in 3d printing. These are sites like 3dprintingforums, Shapeways, Formlabs.
The third category is the repository sites where you can find and download a lot of 3D models. These are Sketchfab, 3D Warehouse, Turbosquid, Artec3D and many others.
If you know any other sites like that, you can share some more in this thread.

I think I read somewhere that one can create 1,000 lines of GCODE with CamBam for Linux, without needing to purchase a license. (the Windows version is something like 40 tries). That way, you can try all of this out without forking over money first.

John.

This is true, but it should be mentioned that scripts and plugins will be disabled in the free version. But it's still great software.
