Hi Gwilym, Thank you very much - I did have a look at Eriks website and probably give them a call as well. However, I've found & ordered belt type Z12.5 with Li=337 from George Lodge (nice thing is that they offer free delivery...) so I'll wait till I'll receive it to if it fits. And yes, I know about standards for the belts - well in an amateurish way - but this one is a bit of an odd-ball as it is quite small and something between 3V and Z profiles.... Thanks again, have a nice Christmas & Happy NY, Martin

Hi Guys,
Still working on getting my Elliot restored... Now I'm struggling with getting right belts for quill feed. The originals were Fenner 2150 4 16; and 2180 4 23.
Any advice what would be their replacement and where could I get them?

Thanks Nigel, I'm still not too sure how this is used. I've found in some old US military used machine list that for sure it is single lip T&C grinder, but no more information.... Any one else out there in wild west grinder world who knows more?
Cheers, M. |

Hello Guys, Does anyone know any details about this grinder? Is it T&C one? Any manuals, description of use, accessories, etc.? Thank you, Martin

. The oiling point on the quik has got some unusual (at least for me...) oiler - it is just a couple of slit rubber/plastic membranes held my some sort of washer push fitted into the hole on the quill - sory for amateurish termonilogy. Mine one is broke - do you know where I could get replacement parts?
. I found some information about those a short while back … Watch this Space If I can locate the old thread, I will post a link MichaelG. . Eureka !! See my post referencing ‘Garland’ oilers, here: Edited By Michael Gilligan on 19/05/2022 11:12:24 Thank you Michael. |

Hi Guys, I'm still restoring my borer, but have one small issue. The oiling point on the quil has got some unusual (at least for me...) oiler - it is just a couple of slit rubber/plastic membranes held my some sort of washer push fitted into the hole on the quill - sory for amateurish termonilogy. Mine one is broke - do you know where I could get replacement parts? I have created an "Elliot jig borer" album if you want to have a look - I'm struggling to insert photos from there in here... Cheers,
