Sorry I hadn’t fully explained. The boiler is copper and silver soldered, working pressure is 60psi, this leak happens at around 70psi so would fail it’s hydraulic test. It is a pinhole leak coming from the inside of the super heater flue. I even disconnected the super heater from the wet header to make sure it was the flue and not the super heater itself. i will have a look into a professional boiler maker but quite hard in this smaller scale.

Hello, I have been in the process of repairing my Grandfathers gauge 3 lms half cab. The boiler is coal fired and superheated. I did a hydraulic test and notices a fine stream of water coming out of the inside of the pipe. Like the inside of the pipe has cracked or got a pin hole in. my questions, is it possible for a tube to be repaired/replaced on such a small boiler and secondly do you have any contacts of people or companies that would be able to perform such a job.
