Following advice from others I've made my bobbins float on the rod so that they self-centre in the bore, however they shouldn't have any fore/aft movement as that would affect the valve timing.

Don't know if this helps but according to some of the paperwork I got the parent company is here http://www.electronicaems.com/about.php

They say they have a UK distributor but I haven't worked out how to find the details from their website.
