It is the original motor they cme with two types it has 3 poles in the back of the motor will try to send some images Iit has a switch module inside the drill press head forward and reverse

Hi all jo again would anyone happen to have the wiring diagrams for the elliot 2g drill press with a hoover motor in it ive just picked one up and have refurbished it but wiring is confusing me. Electric motor wiring never been my strong point lol.

Hi all im definitely hooked on lathes now and I have just recently rescued another gem from the scrap heap.

For a bargain price of 30 pounds just restoring it now its cracking admiralty bs lathe ive nearly finished rebuilding it and can't wait to give it a run.

As for my type m lathe we are getting on great making leaps and bounds with using it what amazing bits of equipment from the drummond brothers.

Hi all I have been captivated with the drummond type m lathe that i purchased a few weeks ago i have stripped it down to every last nut and bolt fully cleaned taken back to bare metal repainted and re assembled it in a weekend I just hope I did it proud.it a marvellous piece of kit but now need help to get on with the real task of learning how to use it properly any help would be much appreciated.
