only 3 wires come out to the junction box, so i assume its in star and i need to find the joins and reconfigure the windings to delta ? yea didnt seam very strong to be fair |

ok i get that. if its not wired in delta would it still run ? as mine runs fine with holding down the contact points plate its a 1958 l5 with the stock motor. its just the contact points plate wont stay down after pressing start |

Hi all I got a fairly run down l5 that I have been doing up. It seams the contact points coil jumps back up after pressing start, the contact points are also arcing. I'm running a 220v single to 3 phase inverter from ebay. It work if I hold down the contact points plate. Any ideas? I may just clamp the top plate down and just run it from the switch. my inverter says 220v 3ph but I guess that's just per phase voltage? the inverter is

hi everyone, new to the fourm. having some issues trying to remove the apron, the only thing holding me back now is the feed box underneath hitting the end block for the lead screw and feed screw. any suggestions around this ? |
