Thanks John and Jason. Could it be anything to do with a Stuart Turner Compound Engine for which i have found the castings?

Thank you Jason. Much appreciated. The Nemett definitely did run because I recall an incident with fingers & propellors and a trip to the plastic surgery dept! No video evidence sadly/luckily! |

Thanks John, that is indeed an option and smaller to accommodate than the steam locos my Dad built!! |

Thanks Paul. It is still available as a kit at £345! I just wondered if people buy these things made up or is it the fun of making them that is the attraction? |

Further to my earlier thread on the Nemett 15cc 2 cylinder 4 stroke engine, I have also found this Westbury Wallaby. Could anyone offer any advice on what I should do with it. Are these items saleable once made up? Many thanks

Thank you Neil. That is much appreciated. I wonder if I am in the right forum to seek advice on what to do with the Nemett 15cc engine I have found. Many thanks |

Hi there, I am new to the model engineer site, but have joined because I have the unenviable task of emptying my late father's workshop who was a keen and skilful model engineer. He spent a lifetime building & running 5in gauge steam locos, in Pembrokeshire and lately in Oxfordshire. I have come across a pristine Nemett 15cc engine which I believe he made. It has the hard copy book by Malcolm Stride and a full set of plans. Does anyone know if this might be resaleable even though it is made up? Thank you in advance.
