I also had the same issue although I have insulated my workshop, in the end I fitted an inexpensive greenhouse heater tube on the floor near the workbench and lathe, 120 watt from memory. Works a treat and keeps the chill off even when in the minus temps, I dont have it on all the time and I can control both the greenhouse heater and the main oil radiator via wifi smartplugs so I dont need to visit workshop to turn off and on plus the benefit of turning the heating on from work before I leave to come home if Im planning to spend a cold evening in the workshop! Hi Roy, I'm in the same position myself, having driven a fellow members Virginia many times over 20 years ago. I've also purchased a part built chassis that needs a lot of tidying up. For your info there are a few laser cut parts available: http://www.modelengineerslaser.co.uk/locoparts.aspx?loconum=351&locotype=4 There are mistakes as have been pointed out but there is a lot of info out there on the web, I'll follow your progress with interest. Darren.
