Hello everyone.

My name is Jerry and I live in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I'm not a complete beginner as I have been a mechanical fitter and engineering manager for about 40 years. However, I have little machining experience and, reading some of the threads has already given me some valuable tips.

I have one long side of a garage for my workshop with washing machines, freezers and domestic type stuff running down the other side.

So I have a sort of galley workshop (long and thin).

I have a Portass lathe, a Chinese pillar drill and a D/E grinder.

I have half made a Stuart 10H but I'm trying to make a few tools for the lathe at the moment.
