Thread: Wanted Myford 254 SparesParts
23/10/2016 07:05:07

Dear All,

I am looking to source any Myford 254 spares/parts for my recently purchased Myford 254 Plus.

I am missing complete Topslide, Manual, and Ball Handle Assembly i have been informed by someone that a Boxford model would be suitable ?

I would also consider any other parts in good condition to upgrade.

Regards...

Thread: Colchester Chipmaster Lathe-Motor Removal !
28/08/2013 09:29:23

Hope any of you experts can help or assist me, i am new to the Lathe world, but very keen to learn, and very passionate about the work i want to do on my Chipmaster.

I have 2 Chipmasters, the problem i have they are both 2x 3 Phase Machines. I have been in touch with a local company that want to convert the motor jumpers, and supply an inverter.

The problem i have is getting the Motor out for them to convert. I have found it is at the bottom of the machine near the hinged door, but havnt got a clue where i would start, it doesnt seem that simple.

I would appreciate any tips or advice you could give me.

Kind Regards...

Chris.
