or do i have to use the one for that model table?

looking at getting the warco rotary table mentioned in another thread.

it's a 2mt center on it , want to make adaptor to use my southbend chucks on it.

Arc sell a 40mm blank end arbor which is tad over 1.5".

should be ok for job shouldn't it?

was looking through Arc catalogue last night with my 9 yr old boy and he asked me.

he said they sell 4 jaw ones.

said i have never seen one but doesn't mean they don't exsist.

would like to be able to answer him properly

got fed up of when with ex.

had one that asked for her so said she is in bath and paused for second before saying it's best place to cut up a body.

if story i heard is right was on fuselage of a plane of ww1 ace.

i have the clarke cl430 lathe.

never had any probs with it apart from speed to fast for screwcutting.

picked up a dual voltage motor to fit so i can slow it right down for screwcutting.

sorry can't help but just had chuckle.

my 7 yr daughter looked at pics and said that naughty man isn't wearing goggles.

given me some ideas as we have loads of aluminium extrusion at work.

usual disclaimer before i start.

Just rung Arc for some info on their er11 collet chuck as need to hold some bike spokes for threading.

As always extremely helpful and polite checking the item would be suitable for what i wanted.

i know some of parts i used to make bikes my clarke cl 430 was to big especially when making spokes and steering arm bushes for the tadpoles.

ended up doing it all on my ml6 as smaller and easier to use for some jobs.

my youngest two's school have given up telling me and ex about things like they run to fast or other silly things.

we went to woods other week and were climbing trees and monster hunting, the other kids there were incredulous.

my two tried getting them to join to be met with it's to dangerous we might fall out.

my girl said yeah so what? you pick yourself up and get on with that's the fun of it.

what really saddens me is lack of imagination these days.

my two have consoles and love them but love creating things when playing.

they stay with me whenever i'm not working and play out with the other kids and they will say this the whatever etc and play in the new world they have created whilst the other kids stare blankly cos they can't see that pile of bricks is a giant mountain or whatever.
