First part to be machined is the base, it being the largest part. The tee slot starts of with a 22.5mm deep, 12mm wide slot milled into one face. Originally, I tried doing this with a straight-forward end mill, but the going was slow, to say the least. I ended up sending off for a 10mmŲ roughing end mill and this made short work of the majority of the metal removal.
