Headstock spindle bearings for a new Warco 1330 lathe.

Two new German made bearings above and the ruined Chinese originals below. There is nothing at all wrong with the actual quallity of the Chinese bearings. In fact they were slightly better than the German items which have a very sloppy fitting cage, which sometimes produces a faint rattle. The Chinese bearings also had a slightly finer ground finish. The replacement bearings are the same grade as the originals. To give an idea of size the larger front bearing has a 60mm bore and a 110mm O/D.
