I made this riser block for the VMC mill. Its 150 mm diameter by 75 mm high, with a locating spigot on the bottom and a circular tee slot on the top. It is made from bronze, as that is all i had and the lump was too big for much else i was likely to make. Most of us have found out that after mounting a rotary table fitted with a lathe chuck, and a chuck in the spindle there isn't much room left for the work piece and a cutter.
