Open-fronted pyramid roll, cost-effective solution for a defined objective - bending round black steel 8- 10- 12mm. (Initial ruminations were to make 'top' and 'bottom' halves to fit Record bench vise, which was decided against, but it may be a suitable idea for smaller bar & tube?) In the end I used a cheapy 6" drill-press vise already to hand as a base. The rollers and drive assembly were based around an existing pair of 7T lawnmower drive - sprockets. Update - Pressure screw & Roller handle replaced with Hex-nuts after first use. Pressure stop added to screw. If I was building again, I'd leave the moving jaw full width and use to support stop screw(s).. Further details with pictures.
