After buying the parts to add cutting fluid to the lathe . I ended up dimantling in it to add oil gaskets. I notice a large pile of cuttings under the inside of the lathe . I felt this would need extracting at a later date. I started cutting a hole out to give access. I also made a plate to cover it but at present could not make a shoot from it until i could see how much space i would end up with.
