ML10 tailstock to Drummond conversion

Created by Martin Newbold on 08/10/2016 18:36:56

Well been trying to get a MT2 tailstock for ages but gave up and brought an ML10 one which was 3" not 3.5" here is how to make it fit. I decided that the best way of doing this was to make the ML10 tail piece fit the bottom half of the Drummond Tail Piece. This was bolted to the tail piece and was easy to unbolt giving a flat surface with a raised profile in the middle. I noted that the bottom of the ML10 tail piece could be unbolted and decided that this could be reduced in thickness and mated on to the existing Drummond bottom half of the tail piece.
